In the heart of Enid, Mississippi, a surprising culinary gem awaits those who wander down Jackson Avenue. The Enid Depot, sitting comfortably at 1027 Jackson Ave, might just be the excuse needed for that perfect road trip. While some establishments boast flashy signs or lavish interiors, the charm here is both rustic and inviting, offering a nostalgic nod to the laid-back dining experiences of yesteryear.
The menu is where things get exciting. Built around the bold flavors of a classic steakhouse, The Enid Depot's offerings range from beautifully tender ribeyes that deliver a sumptuous melt-in-the-mouth experience, to juicy filet mignons that could easily become the reason for anyone’s return visit. Those less inclined to red meat shouldn’t fret—there are plenty of alternatives to satisfy diverse palates. From grilled salmon that's kissed with a whisper of lemon to a cozy chicken parmesan, diners won't be left wanting.
Beyond the centric steak options, side dishes add their own flair to the meal. The garlic mashed potatoes, creamy and perfectly seasoned, have already gathered glowing reviews from local patrons. Meanwhile, a refreshing Caesar salad provides a crisp counterpoint to the warmth of the entrees.
But it’s not just the food that headlines here—The Enid Depot is notable as much for its ambiance as for its steak. Frequent mentions online speak to the friendly and knowledgeable staff who treat each dining experience with the same warmth one might expect from long-lost friends. The historic charm of the building adds a layer of appeal; exposed brick walls and wooden beams create an atmosphere that invites lingering after meals.
It’s also worth noting that convenience isn’t sacrificed here. Easy enough to find, those traversing through Enid would be remiss to pass by without stopping. As the word spreads, expect a lively buzz around this locale; regulars and newcomers alike swap stories of standout garlic-crusted sirloins and caramelized onion toppings at nearby tables.
In summary, The Enid Depot effortlessly meshes comfort with quality, catering both as a weekend treat and a functional eatery for any day of the week. The word around town hints at a culinary promise delivered on every plate, making it a must-visit for anyone passing through Mississippi's ever so charming highways.

Very interesting place tucked away in an old (depo?) building. Fairly crowded on a Saturday night reservations are a must.
Food was good without being great. Ribeye slightly overdone and was a bit thinner than expected. Oysters were ok but while dusted with cornmeal and deep fried lacked seasonings.
The crab cakes were phenomenal!!!

We recently dined at The Enid Depot for the first time and it was a great experience from start to finish. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor—easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was a wonderful blend of country rustic charm, cozy lighting, and thoughtful decor that made me feel right at home. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and a welcoming ambiance!

From start to finish was absolutely great. We (wife and I) got onion rings, steaks with fries and side salad, then cream brûlée and banana fosters. All of it was great and one of the BEST steaks I have had.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 — The Borg Cooking Show
This restaurant is a gem in north western Mississippi, where fine dinning is hard to come by. The desserts are fantastic and the seafood pastas are down right delicious.
The ribeye I ordered was cooked perfectly, however I am not a big fan of the rub & seasoning they used on the steak. It was overly sweet with overpowering notes of brown sugar. However, when combined with the white wine sauce that is poured over the top as a standard, the acidic saltiness balanced out the sweetness. It was an interesting meal, but not something I would go out of the way to eat again.
I will definitely return to try the rest of the menu and I'm proud of this talented chef for running such a great restaurant in Enid.
Also the waitresses are the best in the state!

OH MY!!! The building and atmosphere is phenomenal. This is the cutest Restraunt ever. Their food was all great. There were a few things I didn’t not care for. The coolness of the building made up for this. I also do not care for the fact that they require reservation but do not offer online reservation. I would highly recommend updating this system. We drove over 1.5hrs to get there. The service was fast and friendly. The place is super clean. They cover their tables with a paper cloth that gets changed between guest. I really like this idea. No wet nasty tables.

My first time here. Amazing atmosphere. Live music makes it. Second floor gives more privacy. Food portions are perfect for the price point. Delicious!! Ill definitely be back.
